Massillon Community Charitable Fund to Honor 2016 Grant Recipients at Annual Breakfast

Massillon Community Charitable Fund, a component fund at Stark Community Foundation, will honor eight local organizations at a breakfast on June 10 at Massillon Eagles #190, located at 303 Weirich Blvd. NW. The breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. and the program and awards will begin at 8 a.m. During the breakfast, Massillon Community Charitable Fund will award more than $25,000 in charitable grants. Five organizations fighting hunger in Stark County

Area organizations are working together to combat hunger in Stark County. According to a 2015 report from the Stark Community Foundation, more than 57,000 people in Stark County — about 15 percent of the population — are food insecure.
