Karen Soehnlen McQueen Joins Stark Community Foundation Board

Stark Community Foundation announced today the appointment of Karen Soehnlen McQueen to its Board of Directors for a five-year term. McQueen is an appointment by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Stark Community Foundation's Food Security Grants Announced

Stark Community Foundation Grant Deadline Approaching

Stark Community Foundation is accepting grant proposals for the second cycle of its 2015 discretionary grantmaking program. The deadline to submit online proposals is Friday, September 4. In order to be considered for funding, grant applicants must be either a 501(c)(3) organization in good-standing, tax-exempt private agency or government entity located within Stark County, Ohio only or directly benefitting Stark County. Massillon Area Community Civic Trust Fund Announces 2015 Grantees, New Trustees

Five local nonprofits recently received grants totaling $13,470 through the Massillon Area Community Civic Trust Fund, a field of interest fund at Stark Community Foundation. Women's Fund of Stark Community Foundation Continues to Make an Impact in Our Community

In 2006, a group of 12 women came together with one main goal – to make a difference in the lives of women and children. From 12 they have grown to 182 donors with assets over $300,000 with over $60,000 in grants distributed back to the community since its inception.
