Stark County, Ohio-Stark Community Foundation’s SummerTime Kids program has exceeded $1 million in grants with the announcement of its 2013 awards. The program, now in its 21st year, provides charitable grants of $500 to $2,000 to imaginative and unique summer programs with an emphasis on character and community service. The 2013 process was guided by alumni of Leadership Stark County, who were charged with reviewing applications and awarding grant dollars.
The following organizations received funding for use during summer 2013:
