COVID-19 Update

Date posted: March 20, 2020

Stark Community Foundation's office is currently closed and staff members are working completely remotely. A grant application has been created to capture the growing need in our community and a fund has been activated to provide much-needed resources to organizations in Stark County affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Learn more below about the Foundation's response to COVID-19:

Slow the Spread
As Stark County navigates the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Stark Community Foundation is committed to keeping our employees, their families and our community safe and healthy. As of Friday, March 20, 2020, Stark Community Foundation’s staff has moved to complete remote operations until further notice to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Although our physical office is closed, our staff remains hard at work helping donors give during this unprecedented time. Please continue to reach out to our staff by calling or emailing us. You can also contact us at info@starkcf.org.

Apply for Funding
To help local funders stay informed of the growing need and to streamline the requests for financial support, a mini-grant application has been created to capture how area organizations have been impacted by COVID-19. Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis and grants will be awarded to local organizations responding to the rapidly-evolving outbreak of COVID-19 in our community.

This funding opportunity is intended to fill needs that are currently not being addressed through federal, state and local governmental resources. While grants cannot be made directly to individuals and families, critical resources will be awarded to organizations that directly support neighbors in need
