Stark Community Foundation Invites Grant Proposals

Stark Community Foundation invites grant proposals through its competitive Community Responsive Grants Program.

Proposals demonstrating well-planned programs that address existing or emerging community issues will be considered. Eligible applicants must be a tax-exempt private agency, 501(c)(3) organization (that is recognized as a public charity) or government entity and provide services to the Stark County community.

Proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis to allow Stark Community Foundation to respond quickly to the ever-changing needs in Stark County, and to consider efforts where other funds may not be available. Decisions will be made 8-10 weeks after an application is received. While there is no deadline to apply, the Foundation’s Board of Directors meets next in March to make funding decisions on current proposals.

“The Foundation’s Community Responsive Grants Program provides a platform for organizations to demonstrate a project’s value and its ability to address significant community needs and opportunities,” said Amy Krebs, vice president of grants and community initiatives.“Thanks to our family of donors, we are able to strengthen and impact these efforts in our local community through grantmaking."
