Stark Community Foundation Grant Deadline Approaching

Stark Community Foundation is accepting grant proposals for the second cycle of its 2016 Discretionary Grant Program. The deadline to submit online proposals is Friday, September 2.

In order to be considered for funding, grant applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization in good-standing, a tax-exempt private agency or a government entity located within Stark County or directly benefitting Stark County. The Foundation does not award grants to individuals except through scholarship funds. Projects that strengthen Stark County communities through economic development, education and neighborhood revitalization are given priority.

Request for funding is accepted only through the Foundation’s online grant application system. To apply and learn more about the Foundation’s grantmaking instructions and policies, visit www.starkcf.org and click on the “Grants and Scholarships” tab. Grant recipients will be announced in November.

Grants to the community are made possible through contributions from visionary donors who want to make a difference in the community.
