Stark Community Foundation Accepting Grant Applications

Stark County-Stark Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for the second cycle of the 2013 discretionary grantmaking period. Applications must be submitted to the Foundation no later than Friday, August 2nd.

Organizations should take notice of the new online grant application process. To access the grant application, please visit www.starkcf.org and click on the “Apply for Funding” tab.

Grants are made to: 501(c)(3) organizations in good-standing, tax-exempt private agencies, and government entities located within Stark County, Ohio only or directly benefiting Stark County. The Foundation does not award grants to individuals except through scholarship funds.

Grants to the community are made possible through contributions from visionary donors who want to make a difference in Stark County. In 2012, the Foundation and its donors made grants totaling $6.5 million to support nearly 500 nonprofit organizations in a wide range of fields, including the arts and humanities, health, education, economic development, neighborhood revitalization, and social services.

Stark Community Foundation was established in 1963 as a permanent endowment to enrich the quality of life in Stark County.
