For Students

Stark Community Foundation is one of the area's major sources of college scholarship support. Offering nearly 100 diverse scholarships, these opportunities are made possible by generous individuals, families and businesses to benefit students from Stark and Carroll counties.

Students can apply for scholarships through Stark Community Foundation's Online Scholarship Portal. The application deadline for most of our scholarships is April 1, 2021 with a few exceptions. Students can apply for scholarships online in two ways:

1. Students can apply for the majority of our scholarship opportunities by completing our General Scholarship Application. This one application will automatically match you to scholarships for which you qualify and will also suggest others you are eligible to apply for that require additional information (essay, series of questions, etc.). The deadline to complete our General Scholarship Application is April 1, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

2. A few of our scholarship opportunities fall outside of the April 1, 2021 deadline and require a separate application. To determine if you are eligible for these stand-alone opportunities, you will need to take a short eligibility quiz, which can be found on the Apply page of our Online Scholarship Portal.

For more information, refer to our Frequently Asked Questions and Application Guide. If you have any questions, email scholarships@starkcf.org or call 330-454-3426.
