Through the North Canton Public Library’s new Special Delivery Program, any resident of the North Canton City School District with a new child in their home can now request books, DVDs and other library materials for older siblings, the new child or themselves to be delivered conveniently to their door!

Our Community Responsive Grants program invests in organizations responding to local evolving needs. Grant proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and eligible organizations located within Stark County or directly benefiting Stark County can apply for funding. While there is no deadline to apply, the Foundation’s Board of Directors meets next in March 2023 to make funding decisions on current proposals!

From an early age, Robert James “BJ” Murphy was a community champion. The unwavering strength, character and faith that many admired about Murphy is also how he faced his courageous battle with cancer. When he passed away, his friends established the Robert James (B.J.) Murphy Scholarship Fund at Stark Community Foundation to pay tribute to his love of learning and support of catholic education.
