Responding to Stark County's evolving needs and opportunities
Eligible applicants must be a tax-exempt private agency, 501(c)(3) organization (that is recognized as a public charity), state-supported educational institution or government entity and be located within Stark County or directly provide services to Stark County. Individuals may not apply for a grant but may contact Stark Help Central for further assistance.
Grant requests typically range from $2,500 to $50,000.
Proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis in order to respond to ever-changing needs and opportunities that benefit the community.
Grant applicants will be notified by mail of the Board’s decision within one to two weeks after the Board meets.
Only online applications will be accepted. Apply online through Stark Community Foundation’s Grant Portal. Please be sure to check out the video tutorials available for further instruction.
Organizations receiving grant funding from Stark Community Foundation's Community Responsive Grants Program are required to complete an evaluative report at the end of the grant period, which includes a written narrative on the impact of the grant and financial details of how the grant funds were spent. Failure to submit a final report will impact the organization's ability to secure future funding from Stark Community Foundation.
