April 2024 Grantwriting Workshop

Join Stark Community Foundation, Stark Library and Candid for an engaging workshop on proposal writing and project budgeting. This class will provide you with an overview of how to write a standard project narrative and budget for a proposal to a foundation.

Dave Holmes, network engagement manager for Candid, will discuss:

• The basic elements of a proposal
• How to write a standard project proposal to a foundation
• The "do's" and "don'ts" of writing and submitting a proposal
• How and when to follow up with funders after submitting a proposal
• How to create a budget that correctly represents your project's income and expenses

Space is limited, and there is no cost to participate. We ask that only one representative from an organization attend to allow for more organizations to participate.
