Books aren't the only things you can check out from Stark Library this summer— a wide range of items can be borrowed from the Library of Things:
Use a Digital HD projector for fun, work or school this summer. Create the ultimate movie night experience by projecting a show on your device onto the side of your house, a wall or a hanging sheet!
Borrow a WiFi hotspot, a device that fits in your pocket, and have instant, high-speed internet access from almost anywhere you can get a cell signal.
Enjoy an out-of-this-world view with a tabletop telescope, or borrow a tripod telescope that has a convenient, portable base suitable for any adventure.
Play your favorite classic games while hanging out with family and friends outdoors, including giant versions of Jenga, Tic-Tac-Toe and Connect Four.
Learn a new instrument for free with your library card! A new addition to the Library of Things is a ukulele, complete with an instruction book and access to training videos. You’ll be strumming tunes in no time!
As the temperature rises over the summer months, so can your electric bill! Check out a Kill-a-Watt Meter from the library and be aware of any extra energy your appliances are using.
