You might not be thinking about the holiday season just yet, but those involved with A Community Christmas are. The all-volunteer organization is in the final stretch of its donation campaign to help provide assistance to nearly 1,000 Stark County individuals and families in need. In this episode of Straight from Stark, you'll hear from Nel Lawson, executive board member and grant writer, about how some of the Christmas giving programs you are used to seeing this time of year such as Toys for Tots, Coats for Christmas and Adopt-A-Family have been either suspended or scaled back for the health and safety of its clients and volunteers, leaving an even greater need for assistance.
