Community Initiative to Repair Frank T. Bow Murals in Canton

A former Stark Common Pleas judge and the Stark Community Foundation have launched a fundraising drive to restore and slow the deterioration of the 13 historic murals at the Frank T. Bow building.

Retired Common Pleas Judge Charles Brown said he and 28 current and former local judges have kicked off the drive by contributing $10,750, with more checks expected. The judges serve or have served on the federal courts, the 5th District Court of Appeals, the Stark County Common Pleas Court, Stark County Family Court, Stark County Probate Court and local municipal courts.
