Mission

The mission of Neighborhood Leadership Training is to support established and emerging neighborhood leaders through a leadership development process and to contribute to the quality of life in their neighborhoods by assisting in the planning and implementation of neighborhood improvement strategies.

Presently, Marilyn Thomas Jones, Program Officer, is training full classes of participants from Alliance City, Canton City and Massillon. Training sessions are from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and are held once a month for four months. Each class participant is required to attend all of the training sessions in order to graduate and receive the benefits provided to program graduates. The next Leadership Training Class will begin in February 2010. Registration deadline is January 8th. If you are interested in attending a class, please download an application and e-mail to mtjones@starkcf.org or by mail to the address above. You will be notified of the exact place and date when it is available.
