Massillon Community Charitable Fund

Established with Stark Community Foundation in 1982 by civic leaders in the Massillon community, the Massillon Community Charitable Fund was created to promote civic spirit, charitable giving and community stewardship in the best traditions of Massillon and Western Stark County. The Massillon area is comprised of Massillon, Navarre, Canal Fulton, Brewster, Bethlehem Township, Jackson Township, Lawrence Township, Perry Township, Sugarcreek Township and Tuscarawas Township.

Policy for Consideration of Grant Proposals

Eligibility

The Massillon Community Charitable Fund may provide program support or operating support when it is critical to the survival of a key agency or program. Grants will not be considered for annual campaigns, travel, conferences or recognition events.

Debt Financing

Grants are not made to subsidize previously accrued operational deficits nor debt incurred for capital items or repair.

Request Cap

Grant applications are not to exceed an amount of $4,000.

Project Final Report

Submission of a final report is a requirement. The details will be in Stark Community Foundation's Grant Agreement, which you must sign before receiving a check. Organizations that do not submit this report will not be considered for future grants.
