A long-time Canton resident, Gene Jester established this designated testamentary fund as part of his estate plan. Mr. Jester's career included work as a teacher, industrial chemist, National Park Ranger naturalist, and laboratory director of the Stark County Sanitary Engineering Laboratory.
Foltz Family Charitable FundEstablished 2000
This fund was established by Dwain and Kathy Foltz to receive a deferred gift after their deaths that will benefit the Greater East Canton Community Development-Foltz Community Center Endowment Fund.
Harvey J. and Elsie Dick Charitable FundEstablished 2000
Proceeds of this Planned Gift will benefit organizations that provide programs, direct care, residential care, or other activities for children and adults who are mentally retarded or developmentally disabled.
Howard L. and Christine E. Kruman Scholarship and Charitable FundEstablished 1996
Deceased in 1997, Dr. Kruman was an optometrist and dedicated volunteer leader who believed in giving back to the community. Dr. and Mrs. Kruman's Planned Gift will benefit projects of Jackson-Belden Rotary Club, of which Dr. Kruman was a charter member, and will provide scholarship support to Stark County high school graduates who have demonstrated a commitment to volunteerism while in high school.
