Designated Funds
Adda Bartlow Endowment Fund (Incorporating the Oscar P. Bartlow Endowment)Established 1995
Donor Oscar Bartlow created this fund to benefit The Great Trail Girl Scouts in memory of his wife. Interest from this endowment is used by the Girl Scouts to provide grants to girls of limited economic resources to cover the personal costs related to participation in Girl Scout programs.
Arts In StarkEstablished 1977
Louise B. and W. R. Timken had established this charitable trust to benefit Brunnerdale Seminary. In 1986, income from the trust was redesignated to The Cultural Center for the Arts for annual operating expenses.
Arts In Stark - Fund for the Arts Endowment FundEstablished 2004
The income from this Endowment will help defray the expenses for the Fund for the Arts or any successor campaign.
Established 1998
Berdein Holsing left this legacy to benefit the House of Loreto with income on the fund to be used for administrative and operating expenses at the discretion of the House of Loreto.
Canton Corps of the Salvation Army, Inc. Endowment FundEstablished 1998
Income from this endowment is used to fund the organization's educational programming and related equipment needs including computer hardware and software. It also provides educational grants to needy constituents in Stark County and adjacent counties selected at the discretion of The Canton Corps of The Salvation Army. The fund also exists to meet critical and unforeseen emergency costs.
Canton Lions Club Blind FundEstablished 1975
Philanthropist Alfred A. Hieronimus made provision for a gift to establish this fund when he organized his personal trust in 1954. The income from this fund goes to the Canton Lions Club Blind Fund "for use in their blind and sight conservation programs and projects."
Established 1995
A Stark Community Foundation grant was used to start this fund in 1995 to benefit the Children's Services Advisory and Advocacy Council which had been established by Stark County Commissioners in 1992 to monitor and advocate for the most effective and efficient delivery of services to at-risk children and to provide oversight of Children's Services funds.

David D. and Susan M. Hoecker Charitable Gift AnnuityEstablished 2008
This fund was established so that we can leave a permanent gift to selected Stark county organizations that we have worked with during our life in the Canton area.
Don C. and Elsie M. Sickafoose Challenge Grant FundEstablished 1996
This fund was established to provide a matching grant for the construction of a new building for Great Trail Girl Scout Council. Income and principal are to be distributed to match contributions received from other sources, pending assurance that sufficient funding is in place for construction of the new building.
